High school students selling Obama-themed calendars at the National Mall on the eve of Barack Obama's inauguration on 01/20/2009 which was also MLK Jr. day. The coincidence of a national holiday honouring Martin Luther King occurring within a day of Mr Obama's inauguration added to the deep symbolism of the day's events.
